Job summary

Parafin is expanding its Partner Engineering team and seeks a Partner Engineer to own the technical experience of live partner integrations. You will partner with partner engineering, product, and platform teams to move from firefighting to scalable, self-serve support.

The role blends debugging with system-building and reports to the Partner Engineering Manager. Join a fast-growing fintech team shaping APIs and developer docs for external partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a client-facing technical role—post-sales / solutions engineering, technical partner support, or similar.
• Engineering background with fluency in languages like Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Scala.
• Strong hands-on debugging: read logs, write SQL, inspect data pipelines, reproduce issues with API calls.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, data pipelines, and embeddable UI components.
• Excellent communication: explain complex tech clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong partner-focused problem-solving; raise the bar for partner experience.
• Bias toward leverage: turn fixes into docs, tooling, and repeatable processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the health of live integrations and be the ongoing technical point of contact for partners.
• Monitor integration health, feature adoption, and stability post-launch.
• Instrument telemetry, logs, and dashboards to observe integrations at scale.
• Debug and resolve the hardest technical problems.
• Own end-to-end escalations: reproduce, root-cause, and drive resolution across codebases.
• Design tooling, automation, and runbooks to enable self-serve resolution for future partners.
• Maintain technical documentation standards and public developer docs.
