Thatch is reimagining how health benefits work and is seeking a Partner Engineer to own payroll and HRIS integrations. You will work directly with customers, integration partners, and internal teams to solve complex technical challenges, validate new integrations, and keep critical connections running reliably.

This high-impact role offers ownership from day one and a chance to deliver a seamless experience for customers while helping the engineering team scale what's next.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in partner or solutions engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong API reading and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience owning complex technical problems across multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical complexity into clear guidance and solutions.

Responsabilités

• Own integration health. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll and HRIS connection issues to ensure reliable integrations.
• Lead technical validation with enterprise customers to test payroll integrations and ensure successful launches.
• Be the technical expert navigating payroll configurations and API limitations.
• Drive issues to resolution across customers, external partners, and engineering to diagnose problems and remove blockers.
• Build scalable processes with runbooks, monitoring practices, and workflows to improve reliability.
• Shape how we scale by identifying patterns to improve integrations and customer experience.
