Job summary

Gusto, with offices in Denver, San Francisco, and New York, seeks a Senior Partner Enablement Manager to own end-to-end enablement for its channel partner ecosystem. You will design onboarding, continuous education and certification programs to help partners confidently refer and sell Gusto.

This senior individual contributor role partners with Channel Partnerships, Revenue, Product, and Marketing to drive partner activation, revenue contribution, and scalable programs.

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience in partner enablement, sales enablement, or professional training.
  • Proven track record delivering enablement programs that drive measurable improvements in partner activation, engagement, and revenue contribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead learning initiatives end‑to‑end—from needs analysis through delivery and post‑program evaluation—while managing multiple competing priorities with minimal oversight.
  • Experience designing and facilitating training sessions for professional audiences.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and work cross‑functionally to ensure learning objectives translate into real partner performance outcomes.
  • Solid foundation in education design, with the judgment to select appropriate modalities based on audience, speed, scale, and impact.
  • Hands‑on experience with content creation, curation, and knowledge management platforms, paired with a genuine passion for partnerships and a creative approach to making partners more successful.
  • Comfort operating in urgency and ambiguity, with the resilience, conflict management skills, and composure required to thrive in a fast‑paced, partner‑facing environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% annually to partner training events and industry conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Define partner enablement framework and scalable programs across GTM. Build on existing enablement programs and adapt them for partner segments.
  • Advise senior leadership on enablement investment, program design, and conditions for partner activation and revenue targets.
  • Own function‑level accountability for partner enablement outcomes, including partner‑sourced revenue, activation rates, and ROI.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment on partner enablement strategy across Revenue, Revenue Operations, Product, and Marketing at VP/Director levels.
  • Design and deliver education programs, certification tracks, and just‑in‑time resources tailored to partners’ professional needs.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory dynamics to translate insights into proactive enablement strategies.
  • Research and apply AI tools to accelerate program design, development, and delivery.
