Competenze

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active Florida bar admission in good standing.
• 8+ years of defense litigation experience with substantial employment insurance defense focus.
• Experience independently handling employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, including discrimination, wage and hour, leave, and wrongful termination claims.
• Experience working directly with insurance carriers and insured clients.
• First-chair or second-chair trial experience, administrative hearing representation, and mentoring junior legal staff are strongly preferred.

Career Staffing Talent has partnered with a law firm to identify a Partner/Of Counsel in Employment Insurance Defense for a full-time remote opportunity focused on complex employment litigation.

This role is designed for an experienced attorney who can independently manage matters from intake through resolution, work directly with insurance carriers and insured clients, and help shape litigation strategy across a busy defense practice.

You will handle a broad range of employment-related claims under State and Federal law, while also serving as a steady resource to junior legal staff on case management and litigation best practices.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead employment insurance defense matters from intake through resolution, including trial or appeal where needed
