Open Standard is hiring a Partner Development Manager to cultivate relationships with banks, payment companies, exchanges, and fintechs in the Open USD ecosystem. You will own a high-value partner portfolio, guiding engagements from initial interest through to commercial agreements and beyond.
You’ll navigate diligence-heavy sales processes, lead commercial discussions with CFOs, and tailor materials to support partnerships, with the CEO and Legal as needed.
Open Standard is on a mission to build the world's best money, starting with the US dollar. We believe money should move the way data does: instantly, globally, at any hour, in any amount. Today, financial transactions are hindered by delays, fees, and inefficiencies that every business must bear. We’re here to change that.
Our flagship product, Open USD, is a stablecoin designed for the internet: programmable, global, and built to reward the businesses that champion its adoption. Launched in close partnership with industry leaders like Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, Coinbase, and Shopify, Open Standard already has over 200 top companies in its network. Our lean team is based in San Francisco and New York and is led by Zach Abrams, who co-founded Bridge (acquired by Stripe for $1.1B) and previously led product at Brex, Coinbase, and Square.
Money is the world's most foundational product. Join us to help redefine it.
As a Partner Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in bringing the world’s leading banks, payment companies, exchanges, and fintechs into the Open USD ecosystem. With over 200 partners already on board, you will own a portfolio of high-value relationships, managing them from initial engagement through to commercial agreement and beyond, nurturing partnerships over the long term. This is a quota-carrying partnerships role, similar in scope to a senior account executive at a payments network or stablecoin issuer.
You’ll work with sophisticated counterparties making critical decisions about their money. These organizations will want deep insight into the economics, risk, and governance of Open USD, and will rely on your expertise to navigate those discussions. Success in this role requires equal ease working with a bank’s treasury and compliance teams as well as fintech founders, building trust by asking the right questions and providing clear, informed answers.
This is a unique chance to join as one of our first commercial hires, take ownership of relationships with the world’s biggest financial institutions, and help shape how Open Standard sells as our team grows.
Open Standard is headquartered in San Francisco with an office in New York. We’re a small, senior, and entrepreneurial team with high autonomy and trust. If our mission excites you and you meet most of the qualifications, we want to hear from you.
