Apex Systems is seeking a L2 Support Technician for POS systems in New Albany, Ohio, with partial remote work. The role focuses on Tier II support for store POS hardware and applications and acts as a bridge between service desk and engineering to maintain uptime for 700+ stores.

You will support Linux POS OS, Android and iOS devices, basic network troubleshooting, and participate in on-call rotations for global stores. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technical or customer support services.
• Proficient with distributed computing architectures and remote device management.
• Experience deploying in a retail/restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate company culture and customer service excellence.
• Monitor and maintain incident queue from service desk or engineering.
• Analyze incident patterns to identify trends and enable service desk.
• Collaborate with engineering on capital projects representing support needs.
• Support a Linux-based POS OS, Android and iOS devices, and back-office print tech.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support a global store environment.
• Work with global vendors to provide consistent store support.
• Assist with store IT-focused projects and rollouts.
