Council-On-Rural-Service-Programs is seeking a New Starting Wage Teacher for full-time/part-year, to join our Head Start program. The role collaborates with the Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families to design and implement preschool activities, manage daily routines, and maintain a safe classroom environment.

The position emphasizes growth through our Step-Up-To-Quality program, with a generous professional development budget. A background check, drug test, and physical are required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED with a CDA or equivalent; or enroll in a CDA program and complete within two years.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families to plan and implement Head Start for preschoolers.
• Work with children and parents in the classroom, prepare the learning environment and materials, follow daily routines.
• Ensure child safety with proper supervision and a clean, healthy learning setting.
• Support development activities and family engagement, including home visits and conferences when requested.
