Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Ramsey & Washington Counties is seeking passionate Head Start teachers to deliver high-quality early childhood education for 3–5 year olds. You will support families, integrate curriculum, and document children’s progress while maintaining confidentiality and ethics.

Qualifications

• AA/AS/AAS in Child Development or related field with 12 credits in ECE required
• BA/BS/MA/MS in ECE or related field with coursework equivalent preferred
• Must meet Head Start Act educational requirement and provide transcripts/certification
• Six months experience in an early childhood setting required
• Head Start experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive services for 3–5 year olds adhering to program guidelines
• Develop lesson plans and individual learning plans; observe and document progress
• Undergo CLASS observations and maintain required scores
• Maintain health, safety, and attendance records and required reporting
• Promote parent participation through volunteer opportunities, meetings, and events
• Create a safe, developmentally appropriate learning environment with active supervision
