Council-On-Rural-Service-Programs is seeking a full-time Head Start Teacher to partner with the Head Teacher and Family Advocate to deliver a comprehensive preschool program. The role includes planning activities, organizing learning environments, supervising children, and engaging with families to promote early development and school readiness.

Starting wage ranges from $15.44 to $22.09 per hour, with education-based pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a CDA or equivalent, or enrolled in and commit to completing a CDA within two years.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families to plan and implement the Head Start program for preschool children.
• Assist in preparing the learning environment and materials, manage daily routines, group activities, outdoor time, and mealtime activities.
• Ensure children's safety with proper supervision and a clean, healthy classroom.
• Develop and implement activities supporting children's interests, development, and skill-building across domains.
• Assist with family engagement, parent conferences, and home visits as needed by supervision.
