Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs Of The Valley in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Lead Youth Development Specialist to support branch programming and youth engagement.

You will work with branch leadership, plan activities, supervise programs, and help deliver five core program areas while ensuring safe, high-quality youth development practices.

This part-time role offers 10-25 hours per week, a $15 per hour rate, and training during orientation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Must obtain/maintain a current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Certification (within first 90 days of employment).
• Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license.
• Six months employment with BGCAZ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Employs BGCAZRules of Engagement in day-to-day interactions with staff.
• Facilitates programs and sessions modeling group management and youth engagement.
• Assist Youth Development Specialists with program planning, calendars, lesson plans, and participant data collection.
• Informally observes Youth Development Professionals and provide feedback and coaching.
• Plan, promote and conduct specialized events and programs, including Leagues.
