Job summary

YMCA of Eastern Delaware County is seeking a School Age Staff member for the Sabold and Scenic location in Springfield, PA. This is a part-time role with shifts 7am-9am and/or 3pm-6pm, offering an opportunity to contribute to safe, engaging programs for school-age children.

You will plan, implement, and coordinate after-school activities, supervise staff and volunteers, and ensure compliance with state regulations and YMCA policies while promoting healthy, positive environments for kids.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Higher.
• One to two years related experience preferred in childcare programs.
• Minimum 2 years (2500 hours) documented childcare related experience.
• Minimum age of 21.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 15 days of hire.
• Completion of required trainings.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and coordinates School Age and Camp programs.
• Ensures quality programs and safety for children.
• Recruits, trains, and supervises staff and volunteers.
• Maintains program records and reports.
• Ensures compliance with licensing and DHS/Keystone STARS requirements.
