YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is seeking a Youth Specialist for School Age Programs to supervise after-school groups, lead engaging activities aligned with school curricula, and foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff within a values-driven environment.

The role emphasizes safety, mentorship, and leadership development, with part-time hours and a path to increased responsibilities and pay based on credentials and performance.

Qualificações

• Passion for working with kids.
• Must be 18+ with HS diploma, GED or enrollment in program if graduation within 2 years.
• Previous childcare experience is a plus (1 year preferred).
• Strong communication skills and dependability.
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification preferred (we'll help you get certified if you're not).
• Pass a 10-panel drug screen.
• Clear a Level 2 background check.
