Job summary

Rawhide Youth Services in New London, WI is seeking a part-time kitchen assistant to prepare, cook, and serve meals for youth, staff and guests in a welcoming environment. This 26-28 hour per week role offers a steady weekday schedule.

You will maintain safety and sanitation, support meal planning, and assist with events while staying organized and friendly. A valid driver's license is required, and you must be able to stand long hours, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to plan, organize, and set priorities.
• Willingness to support events outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals in accordance with safety and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area, following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Contribute to meal planning and preparation.
• Interact with staff, youth, and guests in a friendly and professional manner, promoting a positive atmosphere.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to maintain consistent meal service.
• Assist with special events or dietary accommodations as needed.
• Support overall organizational goals by ensuring meals are served efficiently, safely, and with care.
