Job summary

COA Youth & Family Centers in Milwaukee (Riverwest) is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support food prep and cleaning in our camp dining operations.

You will assist with portioning, meal service, and compliance with SFSP, while maintaining safe handling and a cooperative team environment. Benefits include health plans, PTO, 11 holidays, life insurance, a 403(b) plan, and a great working environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR / First Aid certification.
• Experience or desire to interact with youth from underserved areas.
• Preferred: Experience in cooking.

Responsibilities

• Assist in kitchen with food prep and cleaning.
• Ensure compliance with SFSP and standards.
• Set up dining hall, serve meals, wash dishes, clean areas.
