Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas is seeking an Assistant Club Director (Part Time) to provide day-to-day operational support and lead program delivery at a designated Club location in afterschool and summer settings.

Reporting to the Club Director, this role oversees staff, recruits and trains team members, ensures safe facilities, and coordinates youth programming to meet developmental outcomes for members.

Qualifications

• Four year degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience preferred
• A minimum of three years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people, or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff
• Ability to guide members, including leadership with conflict resolution
• Demonstrated ability in working with young people, parents and community leaders.
• Ability to become a certified driver for the organization.
• Bilingual Strongly Recommended

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support and programmatic direction at a designated Club location.
• Supervise the performance of assigned staff and ensure quality program implementation.
• Coordinate staff recruitment, training, and development.
• Maintain safe, clean facilities and equipment.
• Manage program planning, evaluation, and reports.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
