Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas is seeking a part-time Youth Development Professional to support after-school programming for youth ages 6–18. You will deliver engaging activities, help ensure safety, and foster a positive, inclusive club environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–7:00pm. Under supervision, you will orient new members, assist with program areas and events, maintain records, and support daily operations while building strong relationships with members, families, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years old.
• Pass background check.
• At least 1 year experience with children.
• 6 months experience with youth development or related training.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate programs and activities for ages 6–18.
• Ensure safe implementation of programs and activities.
• Orient new members to program areas, safety rules, and opportunities.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate programs and activities.
• Maintain attractive, neat program areas; keep bulletins current.
• Assume other tasks as needed or directed by the Club Director.
