Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking a part-time Basketball Coach for 5th & 6th grade at the Middle School for a one-year ancillary position. The coach will lead the program year-round to develop students athletically and academically, while instilling character.

The winter season runs from November through February, with practices two days per week and 12 games scheduled. The stipend is based on experience and season commitment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of coaching experience with a track record of building a competitive program.
• Knowledge of basketball techniques, rules, and training theory.
• Ability to lead and inspire diverse youth.
• Strong organizational, planning, and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a coaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the program year-round and develop student-athletes.
• Oversee practices, schedule events, and coordinate with other coaches.
• Maintain high standards of integrity and character for student-athletes.
• Support student talent development through the season.
