Job summary

YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South in Olive Branch, MS is hiring a part-time School Age Group Leader to implement daily activities for before/after school and summer programs. You will work with a team to create a safe, engaging environment that fosters growth in children aged 5–12.

Under the Site Director's direction, you will follow lesson plans, supervise 15–20 children, maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to safety and licensing standards, while modeling YMCA core values.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down program space to keep area organized.
• Lead 15–20 children in activities inside or outside as directed.
• Follow all safety standards and risk management policies.
• Assist in planning and implementing a quality curriculum.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training.
• Assist in managing supplies and inventory on site.
• Monitor licensing standards at the School Age site.
• Maintain positive relationships with YMCA staff and school personnel.
• Follow citywide policies and procedures.
• Assume duties as directed by the Site Director.
