Columbus Technical College is seeking a part-time Tutor for the Writing Support Lab to provide one-on-one writing tutoring and help students improve their writing skills. You will maintain precise records and track student progress as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include completing tutor training, submitting paperwork promptly, and supporting the Writing Center Coordinator in workshops and activities.

Qualifications

• Current technical college student with GPA 3.0 or better in English, or an outside applicant with tutoring/teaching ability.
• Ability to provide one-on-one tutoring and track student progress.
• Willingness to complete tutor training and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one writing tutoring and assistance to Writing Support Lab students.
• Attend training sessions and assist in faculty development activities.
• Maintain accurate records and submit paperwork in a timely manner.
