Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College is seeking a Part-Time Writing Consultant for the Western Campus to support student writers in a university-style tutoring setting.

The role requires a Master’s degree (English preferred) and demonstrated experience with writing consultation in a college environment. Duties include one-on-one and small-group sessions, with occasional travel to assist across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university (English degrees preferred).
• Demonstrated writing consultation experience in a tutorial or instructional setting.
• Experience working with community college students.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or group writing consultation to students across disciplines.
• Teaching in a one-on-one setting is integral to the position within the Writing Center.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
