The Alden Network is seeking a part-time registered nurse licensed in Illinois to oversee wound care for ostomies, wounds, and related conditions. You will supervise nurses and wound care staff, ensure adherence to protocols, and coordinate treatments with physicians.

You must hold an IL RN or LPN license, have CPR certification, and demonstrate leadership, communication, and clinical expertise in wound care. This role emphasizes patient safety and high-quality care within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in Illinois.
• Must possess a CPR certificate or become certified within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Demonstrates interest or knowledge in aged care.
• English language proficiency required.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, staff, and the public.
• Leadership and supervisory ability; able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise wound care procedures and staff.
• Assess and document wound status and skin care.
• Administer or assist with wound treatments as ordered by physician.
• Review treatment orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Educate facility staff on pressure ulcer prevention.
• Coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic services for wound care.
• Develop and update written plans of care for patients.
