Job summary

Vantage Health Partners is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time, on-site basis. The role covers north-central Arkansas with a rotating two days-per-week schedule across Batesville, Heber Springs, and Fairfield Bay.

You will perform on-site assessments, stage wounds, debride when needed, and develop individualized treatment plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes during site-to-site

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program.
• Arkansas APRN license active.
• National NP board certification (FNP, AGNP, or AGACNP).
• Active DEA registration.
• Wound assessment and staging experience.
• Proficient in debridement techniques.
• Ability to develop and manage wound care treatment plans.
• Wound care certification (WCC, CWS, CWCN) preferred.
• Skilled nursing/long-term care experience preferred.
• EMR documentation proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and accurately stage wounds
• Conduct sharp and non-sharp debridement procedures as clinically indicated
• Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans
• Monitor patient healing progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
• Prescribe medications, dressings, and wound care supplies within scope of practice
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention and home care techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and facility policies
• Travel between assigned facilities in Batesville, Heber Springs, and Fairfield Bay on scheduled days
