• Wound assessment and staging expertise.
• Experience performing debridement procedures.
• Wound care certification preferred (WCC, CWS, CWCN).
• Proficiency with EMR documentation systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including staging and documentation.
• Conduct sharp and conservative debridement procedures as clinically indicated.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized wound care treatment plans.
• Provide on-site patient care across two Hot Springs, AR facilities.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Prescribe wound care medications, dressings, and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate patients, families, and facility staff on wound prevention and care protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support healing outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, quality guidelines, and facility policies.
