CareMed Health Solutions in Arkansas seeks a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver wound management services to residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will assess wounds, develop care plans, prescribe appropriate therapies, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires an Arkansas NP license, board certification, and experience with chronic, debility, or infected wounds.

Formación

• Current, unrestricted NP license in Arkansas.
• Board Certification.
• DEA licensure (Optional).
• Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties.
• Clinical background of wound care; including chronic, debilitating, stalled, or infected wounds
• Must be comfortable with diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed etiology wounds or Kennedy Ulcers.
• Must be comfortable staging pressure injuries according to the NPIAP
• Must be familiar with wound care best practice and advanced wound care products; collagens, alginates, foams, silvers, etc.
• Must have experience with wound vacs and other DME, such as pressure relieving/ reducing devices
• Strong preference to having wound certification or be open to getting certified
• Experience working in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to work with an EMR.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
