Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program
• Active Arkansas APRN license
• National NP board certification (FNP, AGNP, or AGACNP)
• Active DEA registration
• Wound care expertise in assessment and staging
• Proficiency in debridement techniques
• Experience developing comprehensive wound care treatment plans
• Preferred: Wound care certification (WCC, CWS, or CWCN)
• Preferred: Skilled nursing or long-term care experience
• Preferred: EMR documentation systems experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and accurately stage wounds
• Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans
• Perform debridement procedures as clinically indicated
• Provide direct on-site patient care across Texarkana, Prescott, and Nashville facilities
• Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients, families, and facility staff on wound prevention and care
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice and state regulations
• Document patient encounters, assessments, and care plans accurately in the EMR
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements
