Job summary

Corporate Chaplains of America is seeking a part-time Workplace Chaplain to provide confidential employee care, spiritual support, pastoral care, and crisis response within assigned businesses.

This role emphasizes a servant-leadership mindset, strong confidentiality, and the ability to travel locally to diverse workplace environments. A minimum 5–7 years of secular workplace experience and a biblical studies degree are required, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of full-time secular workplace experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies or related ministry field from an accredited college or university
• Strong Christian faith and commitment to servant leadership
• Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, office, and workplace environments
• Ability to respond effectively to sensitive employee situations and crises
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet platforms, and mobile communication tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• MDiv preferred and ordination considered beneficial

Responsibilities

• Provide confidential employee care, spiritual support, pastoral care, and crisis response services within assigned businesses.
• Offer prayer, encouragement, and compassionate presence in workplace environments.
• Promote a mission-driven, servant leadership approach among employees and leadership.
• Maintain two-way communication and trust with employees, leadership, and CCA.
• Respond to crises, hospitalizations, grief situations, and family emergencies.
• Travel locally to visit various workplace environments and provide on-site care.
• Follow the CCA Handbook and training materials; demonstrate professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain timely follow-up with employees and workplace contacts.
