Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA is seeking part-time Winter Adventure Camp Coaches (Snow Instructors) to lead weekly ski/snowboard sessions with energetic campers. You will plan lessons, manage groups, and engage families, while maintaining safety and high hospitality standards.

Ideal candidates have skiing/snowboarding teaching experience and PSIA/AASI certification preferred; a positive, team-oriented mindset is essential. Seasonal shifts align with weekend schedules and winter programs.

Qualifications

• Safety minded and committed to safe practices.
• Exceptional ability to provide outstanding guest service and hospitality.
• Group management skills during sessions and week to week.
• Experience teaching skiing or snowboarding; PSIA/AASI certification preferred.
• Ability and willingness to create lesson plans with support staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute weekly lesson progression with assigned group.
• Assist with check-in, pick-up, and camper sorting.
• Interact positively with parents at session start and end.
• Help students progress week to week in skills and mountain ability.
• Train with the coaching staff pre-season and pursue personal improvement.
