Job summary

Sojourn Cellars in Sonoma is seeking a part-time Tasting Salon Host and Wine Educator to facilitate consumer sales and deliver an exceptional guest experience at our by-appointment sit-down Tasting Salon. Weekend availability is required.

You will greet guests, guide tastings, and develop relationships that promote sales and brand loyalty. You will also assist with special events and support other direct sales and marketing activities.

Qualifications

• Previous wine sales experience a must
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
• Willingness to work weekends and weekdays as a normal schedule
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of wine and local industry
• Effective at promoting sales and representing a luxury brand
• Excellent time management skills
• Self-motivated with ability to proactively address issues with minimal supervision
• Computer savvy with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Email, and the Internet
• Ability to lift 40 pounds

Sojourn Cellars is a highly acclaimed, artisan producer of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay located in the town of Sonoma. We are looking for a professional, driven, experienced Tasting Salon Host and Wine Educator to facilitate consumer sales and provide an exceptional guest experience at our by-appointment sit-down style Tasting Salon. This is a part-time hospitality position and weekend availability is required.

You will be responsible for providing our guests of the Sojourn Tasting Salon an outstanding experience and developing relationships that promote sales and brand loyalty. You will also help with special events and support other direct sales and marketing activities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for wine and strong sales skills. You must be motivated and enjoy working with the public and providing exceptional customer service!
