Job summary

Soter Vineyards is seeking a Hospitality Concierge to be the first contact for guests, handling calls, emails, and bookings, while promoting wine through email, phone, and in-person channels.

Role includes hosting guests for tastings, providing education, and supporting ecommerce and club activities in our Oregon tasting room and events.

Qualifications

• Wine industry interest or experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with Commerce7, RedChirp, Tock, Adobe, Canva.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.
• Available to work weekends, holidays and some evenings.
• Food Handlers certification required.
• OLCC service permit required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Outdoor work with animals on-site.

Job description

Do you have acute attention to detail and ability to multi-task while also being sales minded and customer experience drive? This is the core of this position.

Our Hospitality Concierge is often the first contact any customer has with our company, and therefore, you must have a complete understanding of our hospitality and sales program. Utilizing a variety of software programs, you will organize and schedule appointments, respond to and manage emails, and provide administrative support to our team. You will act as concierge, salesperson, and brand ambassador selling wine through email, phone, and text. What sets this position apart from other administrative roles is you may be hosting guests, selling wine in our tasting room or at events, providing exceptional service and educational experiences.

Soter Vineyards is a world-class producer and grower of exceptional pinot noir, chardonnay, and sparkling wine in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, calling home Mineral Springs Ranch — a 250-acre oak savanna in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Our biodynamic estate vineyard, winery, tasting room, and farm exist in ecological harmony, forming the backdrop for our hospitality experiences and our growing direct-to-consumer team.

Key responsibilities

• Concierge: manage all incoming calls and emails, and direct flow of customer experience. Assist guests with visits by booking them appointments, recommending travel plans and providing exemplarity hospitality.
• Data entry and ecommerce: enter sales orders, manage club memberships, mailing list signups, and basic reporting.
• Omni-channel wine sales: sales strategies include email, phone and text, web and in-person.
• Hospitality and service: will additionally be hosting guests for wine tasting experiences as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job requirements

• Strong interest in the wine industry or previous wine industry experience preferred
• Working experience in Microsoft Office suite
• Preferred systems experience in: Commerce7, RedChirp, Tock, Adobe, Canva
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem solving
• Available to ork weekends, holidays and some evenings
• Food Handlers certification required
• OLCC service permit required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Must be able to work outside during the warm and cold months
