Job summary

The YMCA of the Roses is seeking a friendly Welcome Desk Associate at the Lancaster City Branch. This part-time position offers weekday evenings and weekend mornings, focusing on exceptional member service and program promotion.

Responsibilities include assisting members, directing inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming environment while performing desk duties and basic transactions. Proficiency with computers is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience in service-oriented or sales environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members and guests in person or by phone.
• Direct members to the correct department for information or sign-ups.
• Promote memberships and YMCA programs with courtesy.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional appearance and environment.
• Record transactions and assist with daily desk duties as needed.
• Support opening/closing procedures and safety protocols.
