Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus is seeking a Transportation Dispatcher to coordinate weekend shuttle services and respond to resident transportation needs with compassion and precision.

This part-time role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize safety, and support our Mission of Love across campus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Driver's license preferred (must possess a valid driver's license to assist in campus transportation).
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule transportation requests for residents and staff.
• Receive and document requests with destination, time, pickup, mobility needs, and accommodations.
• Develop and maintain daily schedules; assign trips to drivers and vehicles.
• Communicate with drivers about schedules, routes, passenger needs, cancellations.
• Monitor transportation activities; adjust for delays or emergencies.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and resolve issues to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, routes, locations, and resources.
• Report changes or concerns to supervisors and assist with issues.
• Use scheduling software, phones, email, and other tech to perform duties.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents or concerns promptly.
• Maintain calm and organized approach while handling multiple requests.
• Perform other duties to support safe, efficient operations.
• Provide professional phone and communication support for route inquiries.
• Support daily operations through coordination, documentation, and adherence to policies.
• Maintain schedule flexibility for varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to operate the shuttle to assist in campus transportation.
