Job summary

Keystone Quality Transport in Springfield Township is seeking a reliable Dispatcher to coordinate paratransit and EMS transport requests. The role requires strong communication, organization, and multitasking to support field crews and ensure timely pickups and safe journeys.

You will monitor schedules, update real-time information, deliver excellent customer service, and collaborate with facilities, patients, and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of dispatch experience in EMS or Paratransit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMT certification preferred but not required.
• Must maintain a professional attitude, appearance, and commitment to high performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch transport requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor transportation schedules and ensure pickups and drop-offs are completed as scheduled.
• Maintain communication with crews and account for unit status throughout the shift.
• Notify facilities, passengers, or callers regarding delays or schedule changes.
• Update schedules and transport information in real time throughout the shift.
• Communicate accurate and timely information to field staff.
• Resolve operational issues and assist with problem-solving to maintain service efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform customer service-related duties as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication with crews, facilities, patients, and callers.
