Job summary

Pearson VUE in Chicago is hiring a part-time Test Administrator to support Saturday testing operations at the One Illinois Building. This role delivers a secure testing experience and outstanding customer service in a calm, professional environment.

Availability to work every Saturday is required, with potential for additional weekday shifts based on scheduling needs. The position is up to 19 hours per week, mostly on Saturdays, with starting pay of $17.75 per hour plus eligibility for accrued

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with test proctoring or similar environments is a plus.
• Must be dependable and able to consistently work Saturdays.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to sit for extended periods and escort candidates as needed.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs. with reasonable accommodation.
• Comfortable working in a quiet, detail-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a secure testing experience while providing excellent customer service.
• Check in candidates, verify identification, and explain exam procedures.
• Proctor (invigilate) exams to ensure testing integrity.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean testing space.
• Support additional tasks as assigned.
