Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a part-time Receptionist to cover Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am. The role requires greeting visitors, answering calls on a multi-line system, and providing information while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The position emphasizes excellent communication, basic MS Office skills, and a high school diploma. A background check and drug screen are required post-offer.

Qualifications

• Long Term Care: 1 year (Preferred, but not required)
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
• A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is required.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
• Operate multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and to direct callers to appropriate personnel
• Provide directions and information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, etc
• Greet visitors and direct to appropriate office and/or resident room
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail and maintain route publications
• Monitor visitor access and sign-in process.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Administrative staff.
• Must adhere to all HIPAA requirements.
• Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Supports Business Office Manager with tasks including, but not limited to, accounts payable, residents funds, filing, etc.
