Job summary

Community Housing Innovations, Inc. (CHI) is seeking staff to prepare and serve meals, assemble meal kits, and assist with food deliveries. You will record meal counts, submit weekend statistics, and ensure accurate records are kept for food service.

The role emphasizes customer service to CHI clients and external vendors and requires punctuality and teamwork. The position offers part-time weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.) with overtime available and a relevant NYS Food Handler’s

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to relate to underserved populations and work in a team.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus and helpful in the community setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for shift.
• Prepare meal kits for future distribution.
• Assist in receiving and unloading of food deliveries.
• Record meal count and submit weekend statistics to Program Manager.
• Provide exemplary customer service to CHI clients and outside vendors.
• Attend staff meetings and training as scheduled.
