Job summary

Haven of Champaign is seeking dependable and compassionate Dietary Aides to join our team. This position supports residents with meal service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment within our skilled nursing and long-term care community.

Responsibilities include assisting with meal prep, serving residents, following dietary guidelines, and upholding food safety standards. This is a part-time, on-site role with evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food service for residents
• Serve meals in dining areas and resident rooms
• Follow dietary guidelines and special meal plans as directed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Follow food safety and infection control procedures
• Assist residents with meal setup and basic dining support as needed
