Bridging Independent Living Together, Inc. (BILT, Inc.) in Newton, MA is seeking a part-time In-Home Skills Trainer to support individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in their homes and communities. You will teach daily living skills to promote independence and engage clients in community activities.

The role requires driving clients in personal vehicles, documenting progress, and participating in trainings within a growing nonprofit organization.

Qualifications

• Must have a car and valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass CORI and other background checks.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and be on the go for hours.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living and social skills.
• Provide ongoing support, role modeling and guidance.
• Document daily notes on participants' progress.
• Attend trainings and review meetings as required.
