Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 16 years or older at the time of filing an application.
• Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Ability to move or lift patients and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients between departments using wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Provides patient and visitor assistance with courtesy and respect.
• Documents transport orders and completion of services.
• Dispatches services and communicates with nursing staff as needed.
• Follows infection prevention and safety guidelines during transport.
