Job summary

Boston Medical Center South is seeking a Patient Transporter to join the patient care team. You will provide prompt, courteous transport for patients, visitors and coworkers, and support mobility throughout the hospital in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, 6-12 months of hospital or customer service experience, English literacy, and ability to lift. This is a part-time evening shift (3p-11:30p) Friday-Sunday with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6-12 Months Customer Service or Hospital Experience Preferred
• BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift without any limitations

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to patients, visitors and coworkers.
• Transport patients within the hospital and assist with related tasks.
• Foster collaboration among team members and between ancillary departments.
