Job summary

Divers Direct is seeking friendly, energetic Part-Time Sales Associates to join our Fort Lauderdale team. You will help customers find the right gear, learn product details, and support daily store operations in a busy retail environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of customer service experience, enjoy teamwork, and are willing to learn about dive and watersports products. Evening and weekend availability is required; some holidays may be needed during peak periods.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Friendly, dependable, and able to interact with customers.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• Willing to learn about products and the dive/watersports industry.
• Regularly able to work evenings and weekends.
• Open to select holidays during peak periods.
• Scuba certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
• Help customers select products based on their needs and interests
• Learn and maintain knowledge of our products, brands, and services
• Generate sales across all product categories
• Complete sales transactions and maintain proper cash accountability
• Stock and replenish merchandise throughout the store
• Assist with product exchanges and transfers
• Price, tag, and organize merchandise
• Help maintain displays and merchandising throughout the sales floor
• Keep the store clean, organized, and ready for customers
• Fill scuba tanks and conduct inspections after training
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety practices
• Assist with other store responsibilities as needed
