Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a part-time Environmental Technician 2 to conduct evaluations and maintain water and wastewater treatment facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental services and hold a Pennsylvania Water/Wastewater Operator License. The position is remote, but candidates must reside in or relocate to the Somerset, PA area.

Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication are essential, and cross-training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in water or wastewater treatment plant operations.
• Working knowledge of treatment processes, chemical feed systems, and sampling.
• Strong understanding of plant operations and distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites for operational evaluations.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment system performance.
• Collect and test water samples to assess compliance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on treatment systems.
