Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic Warehouse Worker in Riverview, FL. This is a part-time position from Monday through Friday.

As a team member you will participate in all warehouse functions: receiving products, verifying descriptions, assembling orders, stocking inventory, and ensuring accurate inventories, while adhering to AVI policies.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Great work ethic.
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns).
