Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Doral, FL is seeking an energetic part-time Warehouse Worker to support distribution and receiving operations, receive products, verify quantities, and prepare orders for shipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Great work ethic.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (e.g., cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns).

Participat e in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouseReceive products coming into the warehouseVerify quantity and description of productsAssemble and fill orders to be shippedStock incoming ordersMaintain accurate physical inventoriesEnsure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly mannerFollow proper receiving proceduresComply with all AVI policies and procedures including but not limited to security proceduresCommunicate any issues of concern to management ie cleanliness safety concerns or security concerns

Requirements
