Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker in Orlando, FL. You will participate in all warehouse functions, receive and verify products, assemble and ship orders, and maintain inventories.

Role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and thriving in a fast-paced environment with seasonal temperature changes. AVI emphasizes a family culture, training, and growth opportunities; pre-employment drug testing is conducted.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in temperature extremes and humidity.
• Maintain a fast pace and multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products and verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders and maintain accurate inventories.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and AVI policies and procedures including security.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management ( cleanliness, safety, security ).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management ie cleanliness safety concerns or security concerns
