Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a part-time Vocational Nursing Instructor to visit clinical sites and teach nursing courses. The role emphasizes updating syllabi, mentoring students, and maintaining records while ensuring licensure requirements are met.

You will collaborate with program leadership, participate in professional development, and stay current with nursing standards and safety regulations. ATI certification will be pursued within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN with CA licensure (required).
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing required.
• Faculty requirements per CA Board must be met.
• 3 yrs nursing with BSN or 6 yrs with ADN experience.
• Mentor students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses at various times and locations; visit clinical sites.
• Review and revise syllabi; submit program reports to Director.
• Maintain student records, attend professional development, and ensure licensure CE hours.
• Stay current with nursing practices, safety regulations, and ATI certification within 60 days.

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with CA licensure

Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN
