Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice. You will greet patients, perform preliminary testing, maintain records, and guide each person through the Visionworks journey with a simple, human and bold approach.

You will collaborate with the OD, transition patients to the sales floor, and support daily store operations, including inventory checks and phone coverage.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Customer or patient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and share key patient information with staff.
• Support exam-lane operations: restock inventory, clean equipment, and answer phones.
