Visionworks of America is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to serve as the friendly face of our exam practice. You will guide patients through the initial steps of their eye exam journey, provide essential information to the OD, and help educate patients on products and services with a human, approachable style.

The role emphasizes patient experience, eye health knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience is preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent is required or related job experience.
• Familiarity with eye health and preliminary testing is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and inform staff to educate on products.
• Support exam lane operations: restock inventory, clean equipment, answer phones.
