Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to serve as the face of our exam practice, guiding patients through the initial steps of their eye care journey. You will help with preliminary testing, patient records, and transitioning patients to the OD while advising on products and services.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient service is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate/assist on products and services.
• Support store exam-lane operations including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
