Job summary

Visionworks in Warrington Township, PA is seeking a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to be the friendly face of our exam practice. This part-time position focuses on guiding patients through initial steps and ensuring a smooth eye-care journey.

You will handle preliminary testing, assist with OD handoffs, and support store operations, restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services for eye care needs
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance, restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet patient needs
