Job summary

Cobb Animal Clinic in Greensboro, NC is seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to support high-quality patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. This role offers flexible part-time hours, experience-building opportunities, and mentorship within a supportive team of veterinarians and technicians.

Prior veterinary experience is preferred, with a focus on compassionate patient care and client service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary hospital or related setting.
• Strong animal handling, restraint, and patient-care skills.
• Experience with venipuncture, blood collection, and lab diagnostics.
• Ability to document patient histories and medical records.
• Prior experience with radiology and anesthesia support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized and outpatient patients.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Safely restrain dogs and cats during examinations and treatment.
• Perform venipuncture, blood collection, laboratory diagnostics, and sample processing.
• Assist with radiology, patient monitoring, and treatment administration.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and organize equipment.
